ReliaQuest Bowl Charitable Giving Initiative
In additional to being an economic engine for the region and contributing over $6 million each year to universities, for a total of $176 million over the history of the game, the ReliaQuest Bowl Association began a Charitable Giving Initiative in 2016 to also provide funds each year to non-profit organizations either based, or with a large presence in, the Tampa Bay area. Since beginning this program just a few years ago the Bowl has already donated over $4 million to 190+ deserving charities and it is committed to contributing at least another $500,000 annually.
In both 2020 and in 2021 the bowl was recognized as a "One Tampa Bay Honoree for Corporate Philanthropy" by the Tampa Bay Business Journal.
