Crimson Tide in 2024: The Alabama Crimson Tide finished their season with a 9-3 record, ranking 11th in the AP poll. Alabama boasted one of the highest-scoring offenses in college football this season. Nationally, they ranked second in rushing touchdowns with 41 touchdowns and led the SEC in total touchdowns scored with 58. In addition to their high caliber offense, Alabama also had one of the most efficient pass defenses, ranking third in the SEC by allowing just 191.17 passing yards per game. The Tide posted an impressive 111.92 efficiency rating and finished 10th in the nation with 16 interceptions, ranking second in the SEC.

Crimson Tide Traditions: The Crimson Tide hold an all-time record of 965-337-43 (.734). Over the years, they have captured 18 national championships, the most in the poll era. Alabama also holds 30 SEC championships, the most by any team in the conference. The program is known for its history of producing talent, having produced 147 first-team All-Americans, 4 Heisman Trophy winners, and 25 College Football Hall of Famers. Additionally, 74 former Crimson Tide players are currently on NFL rosters.

Crimson Tide in Bowls: Alabama holds a 42-26-3 record in bowl games, an NCAA record for the most bowl wins by a program. They have also played in more bowl games than any other program in NCAA history. Since the College Football Playoff system was introduced in 2014, the Crimson Tide have appeared in 8 College Football Playoff tournaments. Alabama has played in the ReliaQuest Bowl twice with the most recent being back in 1997, when they defeated Michigan 17-14. Their most recent bowl victory came in 2022, when they gained a victory over Kansas State 45-20 in the Sugar Bowl.

Feature Players: QB Jalen Milroe was a key leader for the Crimson Tide this season, contributing across multiple aspects of the game. Milroe finished the year ranked 2nd in the SEC and 6th nationally in rushing touchdowns with 20. In addition to his success on the ground, he ranked 2nd in the SEC in passing yards (2,652) and completions (189). Milroe's efficiency also stood out, as he ranked 2nd in the SEC in pass efficiency with a rating of 153.75, highlighting his effectiveness both through the air and on the ground.

WR Ryan Williams, a unanimous five-star prospect, was one of Jalen Milroe's top targets this season. Williams recorded 8 receiving touchdowns, ranking 2nd in the SEC and tied for 2nd in the FBS. In addition, he totaled 857 receiving yards on 45 receptions, averaging approximately 71.42 yards per game. Williams' standout performance made him a key contributor to Alabama's high-scoring offense throughout the season.

RB Jam Miller and RB Justice Haynes worked together in Alabama's rushing attack, helping the team secure a 4th-place finish in the SEC in rushing yards. Miller contributed 641 rushing yards over the course of the season, while Haynes added 448 yards on the ground. Both running backs displayed a nose for the end zone, each recording 7 rushing touchdowns.

LB Jihaad Campbell was a standout on the defensive side for Alabama, recording 55 solo tackles, which ranks 2nd in the SEC. He also totaled 108 tackles, placing him 5th in the conference, and added an interception to his stat line, highlighting his impact on the field. DB Malachi Moore contributed to the Crimson Tide's secondary, accumulating 70 total tackles, 8 pass deflections, and 2 interceptions over 12 games, ranking 5th in the SEC in pass deflections. Similarly, DB Domani Jackson made contributions with 7 pass deflections and 2 interceptions, one of which was returned for a touchdown. These efforts were key factors in Alabama's defensive success, as the team ranked 2nd in the SEC and 10th nationally in interceptions.

Meet Head Coach Kalen DeBoer: Kalen DeBoer is in his first season as Head Coach for the Alabama Crimson Tide. During his 26 years in coaching, he has consistently prospered at multiple levels and in different roles, helping to build and revitalize programs. In nine seasons as a head coach, DeBoer accumulated a record of 104-12, which includes a 25-3 record in his previous stop with the Washington Huskies and three NAIA National Championships at Sioux Falls. In 2023, he led Washington to the College Football Playoff National Championship Game with a victory over Texas in the Sugar Bowl. DeBoer's '23 group won the Pac-12 Championship and recorded the most wins in a season in program history (14). Additionally, he won the 2023 Associated Press, AFCA, Eddie Robinson, George Munger, Walter Camp, Sporting News and Home Depot Coach of the Year awards.
